Organise competitors around a client or prospect

Group competitors beneath a company so you can compare them and start analyses with the right context.

Written by Rohan Hayes

Add existing competitors

On the Dashboard, click + in the company’s Competitors column.

Search for and select one or more companies, then click Add competitor or Add X competitors.

If a selected competitor is also a client or prospect, tick Keep companies in the main company list. Otherwise, it will appear beneath the company you’re grouping it under.

Can’t find a competitor? Choose Add a new company to research and add it.

Drag a company to associate it

Use the drag handle beside a company’s logo and drop it onto the centre of a client or prospect’s row. Look for Add as competitor before releasing.

🚨 Dropping at the top or bottom edge reorders the row instead. Clear the search bar before dragging.

View the group

Click the arrow beside the client or prospect’s name—or its competitor count—to expand the group.

Click Get Insight on the client or prospect to run an analysis.

This will open the Agent with that company and its associated competitors preselected.

Remove a relationship

Open the competitor row’s three-dot menu and choose Remove from [company].

💡 This removes the association, not the company. Don’t use Delete unless you want to remove the company itself. A company can be a competitor of several clients or prospects, but a company with its own competitor group cannot be nested under another company.
